A brand new restaurant, Melange is already taking the La Quinta dining scene up a notch. Seen as a hidden gem, locals believe it won’t take long before news of this fantastic restaurant gets around.
Not just a fine dining restaurant, Melange dubs itself as fine dining with a view. With the mountain backdrop and the beautiful grounds of the Chateau Lake La Quinta out the window, you won’t know whether to look at the food or the view. A man-made lake makes all the difference whether sitting inside to escape the heat, or outside on the lakeside patio.
With farm-sourced local ingredients, the menu is a veritable melange of tastes and textures. Dinner diners will be pleased with everything from artisanal cheese plates, caprese salad, Ahi tuna crab stack, organic Mary’s chicken piccata or the steakhouse salad. For dessert, there are a number of choices like date bread pudding, which is house-made with Coachella Valley dates.
Lunch is served with some of the dinner favorites, but for a fraction of the price, with items from only $11 to $16. And, as if lunch and dinner weren’t enough, their breakfast menu has everything from Mimosas to Huevos Racheros and low carb bagels baked at a local bakery.
