Not only is it a beautiful and sophisticated restaurant for a romantic dinner, they’ve got decadent menu items that will definitely impress your date. John Gilbert once romanced Greta Garbo at this restaurant and if that isn’t romantic, what is? With a specially-curated menu for Valentine’s Day, you can feast on beef carpaccio, braised short rib and a salted caramel tart (among other choices) for $150 a couple, including a champagne toast.
Morton’s The Steakhouse
For a hearty dinner, steak is the winner. For Valentine’s Day this fabulous steak restaurant, renowned for having the best steak anywhere is serving a steak with lobster tail and butter for only $56. The atmosphere is also upscale and will make your romantic night complete.
Copley’s on Palm Canyon
Great for both a Valentine’s lunch or dinner, Copley’s Valentine’s menu is a definite winner. Featuring your choice of soup, salad or a delicious three cheese tortellini with parsnip white truffle puree and red wine butter, there are a number of beef, fish, and pork options for your entree. Dessert comes from their Valentine’s sampler is sure not to be missed. The cost is $70 per person.
La Quinta Cliffhouse
With such a spectacular location, this spot is romantic any day of the year. For Valentine’s Day they will have a special menu, featuring all of their best starters and entrees. The wine list alone should be enough to choose the La Quinta Cliffhouse for your special day.
Lulu California Bistro
This special restaurant may not be typically romantic, but they have a special Valentine’s menu that is incredibly affordable, for those Valentine’s dates that are on a budget. Get one of their cozy booths and cuddle up to your special person while savouring wild mushroom soup, lobster ravioli, and red velvet cake for dessert. At only $39.99 per person for three courses, you’ll also want to bring the kids for the $19.99 special.
Roy’s – Rancho Mirage
Valentine’s Day at Roy’s starts early, with doors open earlier for reservations. A four-course menu is available for the special day with amazing dishes including crispy chicken spring rolls, lobster bisque, hand carved filet mignon and a dark chocolate torte. Drinks like the Polynesian Passion and the Rye Me a River definitely meet the expectations for this day.
Choose from either their full men or a special for Valentine’s Day at this beautiful restaurant. Their first course choices include crispy fried oyster and deviled farm egg. The main course choices are a pan roasted Branzino filet with fennel, endive, saffron broth and little neck clams or a grilled Kobe steak & bone marrow with Catalonian spinach, fried farm egg, white truffle oil and a red wine reduction.
